Can Chris Johnson replicate his 2k yards from last year? Don't think so.

CJ2K, he is insanely skilled and knows how to wow audiences and fantasy owners. He is magic, he can cut to the other side of the offensive line with a blink of an eye. His quickness and elusiveness is top tier, no one can touch him. First player since Terrell Davis to top 2,000 yards rushing, and he is only the 6th player to do so. He is a sprinter, if he gets into open field he is gone. Chris Johnson knows he needs to get paid more money, everyone knows he needs more money, so he is sitting out and hurting his value as a football player. However, he won’t miss a game and most consider him the top pick this year in the draft. I see it differently though.

The Good

He has skills, he is fast and elusive and can make most men miss. Jeff Fisher relies on this guy like fat people rely on cake, Fisher likes him so much that he got rid of the touchdown producer of 2008 Lendale White. This opened up the whole workload to Chris Johnson, which wasn’t too much of a surprise. The offense went from Smash and Dash to the Coach’s Dream. He plays a handful of horrible run defenses, but is also ranked right in the middle of running backs facing easy schedules.

A.P. should reclaim his spot as #1 overall this year.

For being the #1 overall pick last year, Peterson didn’t really seem to shine like most projected. He had a solid year, no doubt, but he seemed to be overshadowed by Chris Johnson and the passing attack of the Vikings. Defenses started to remained locked on Peterson, slowing his stats down but rejuvenating his 40 year old quarterback and unproven receivers. The Vikings are waiting patiently for Brett Favre to make a decision on if he is returning, but honestly they don’t need to worry because they will still have the best overall back in the league to anchor their offense.

The Good

Lets face it, I don’t really need to spell it out for fantasy owners. Peterson shouldn’t be around past the third pick, hell he should be gone before the second pick, but Chris Johnson has too much hype right now to not be the #1 pick this year. He can do it all, catch, run, stiff arm, spin, run over, anything that you want a RB to do, AP does. He plays a handful of horrible run defenses, mixed with some pretty stiff ones, he is right in the middle for rankings against defenses.
